When my husband and I got married a decade ago, I didn’t even know wedding registries were a thing. I just moved to America and was trying to acclimate and learn the language. We got married really fast at the local courthouse in Richland, WA.
So you can imagine, -as a former web designer- how much fun I had setting up a pretend wedding website and registry to explore this amazing service, Zola. :) I was able to switch up the language, add important dates, addresses with maps and activity ideas for family and friends coming from overseas. In the registry section I really love that you can ask guests to support your travel and wedding costs, simply by setting up a cash fund. Or how about an ‘immigration process’ fund. Not so romantic, but I love practical gifts!
So, are you ready to register at Zola and get 50$ back?!
Yep, it’s free!
